Writing is my passion so this blog isn't just a hobby or a way to air my grievances and dirty laundry (although it will accomplish both before long).
Second, I learned way back in college when I started my very first blog never to put anyone's name in any of my posts. Whether I'm recounting positive exchanges between friends or talking about that time we ate canolis on his rooftop then made out to "see if there was anything there," (there wasn't) I learned it was best to keep names out of it altogether. So to protect the innocent (and the guilty) no real names will be used in this blog. Maybe I won't use names at all. Maybe I'll just refer to people as colors and places as numbers. But that could get confusing. Either way, if you know me and if any of what you read in these posts sounds remotely familiar - please keep in mind that I am a writer and sharing my experiences isn't meant to harm anyone else.
Please don't ask me if I'm "talking about you in that blog post" - I probably won't answer.
Lastly, I'd like you to know that I write these posts as I remember them - and from the heart. So things may get a little personal at times but I'll always try to leave you with something positive to takeaway.
